DELIVERY DELAYS

Please note that transit time from the courier may be slightly longer due to the corona virus precuations.

Dear Customers,
 

We are doing everything possible to maintain full delivery services. Our warehouse is operating as usual with all the precuations for Covid-19; our customer services team is working remotely and our suppliers are doing their utmost to keep up with demand. There are some delays on incoming stock and sometimes we do not receive absolutely everything we have been promised. We apologise if you do face any delay, but demand is currently unprecedented and whilst we quote a standard delivery of 3-5 working days, PLEASE NOTE that we have temporarily amended this to 5-7 working days (despite it saying 3-5 days) and are recommending you allow extra time on top of this in case of any other unforseen issues or any courier delays. Next working day delivery on orders placed by 2pm is available and is indicated, if availble, on the product page and in the checkout. Saturday and Sundays do not count as working days.

Nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our customers, selling partners, employees, and the communities we serve. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM REGARDING AN ORDER PLACED WITH US, please contact our customer service team who will try and resolve the matter as quickly as possible. Please be patient and understanding as this is a time for us to stick together and support each other and overcome the challenges we all face. The telephones will automatically divert to a messaging service which will text any message you leave to the customer service teams, who will respond in rotation to all the calls received. We are not answering calls purposely to ensure that all customer service matters get attended to without distraction and in an efficient manner. It may take an extra 24-48 hours to get a response, but not necessarily. Our opening hours remain as advertised of the footer of each page on any of our webistes. Our offices are closed on weekends.

We are closely monitoring developments of the global coronavirus (COVID-19). For the safety of our customers, selling partners and carriers, our delivery partners will make deliveries to a customer’s doorstep and will then step back while they wait for the customer to collect their order. 

In addition to our company-specific Safe Delivery guidelines, there are a few additional considerations we would like to share:

How does doorstep delivery keep drivers/customers safe?
A doorstep delivery requires the driver to place the shipment on the doorstep of the delivery address, knock on the door and step back a minimum of 2 meters while they wait for the customer to collect their order. In a free-standing house, this means the front door of the customer. In an apartment complex, this means the door to the customer’s apartment, or the concierge area. Customers will not be required to physically sign to confirm receipt. This helps minimize the contact between the customer and driver.

What is the returns time?

Any weight based delivery charges based on destination will automatically show in the checkout page when you select the delivery option. We operate from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding Bank Holidays.  For orders placed over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday we will dispatch this item on the next working day to reach you within the time frames outlined above. We'll send you an email to confirm when we ship your items. Most medium and large sized orders require a signature upon delivery. If you know you won't be at home, why not consider arranging delivery to your work or a friend’s address? You will be able to do this on the courier’s website once you have received your consignment details by email. The courier will endeavour to deliver all parcels as per the customer’s instructions, however, if those instructions leave the safety of the parcel in an un-secure environment, we will not accept liability for the loss or replacement of the parcel.

Always check the packaging for damage and make a note of this when signing. Please only sign as received in good condition if that is the case. If the goods have obviously been damaged in transit, please refuse delivery, and call us.

If you're out when the courier arrives, they will leave a calling card. Please contact the courier directly to arrange a convenient time for re-delivery. If they're still not able to deliver on the third attempt, they may request you collect the order from their depot. Subsequent delivery attempts may require additional payment by the customer.

Please note that we will not be held responsible for the performance of the courier company once the parcel has been collected from us. Nor are we responsible for any local taxes or extra customs duties that may be required dependent upon your local country import laws.
